We believe that every child with medical needs deserves to live without limitations – and that every parent deserves to feel safe.

Our Story

Our youngest child, Matteo, has asthma and anaphylaxis, a severe type of allergic reaction caused when he is exposed to specific allergens. So, ever since Matteo was five months old, we have carried with us adrenaline and an inhaler.

After his diagnosis, we quickly realized that few in our community would know how to help Matteo if he had a severe episode. In addition, as parents, sending him to school, letting him play sports, and doing other normal childhood activities were challenging.

He needed more than just his medication and a piece of paper with instructions. He needed an ally to support him wherever he went.

    The award was established in honor of Alfred Nobel and is given to innovative companies that combine creativity with social impact. Medsbag won nationally for our groundbreaking solution that helps families with children who have chronic illnesses.
